Thank you Saebo. I love your motto: “No Plateau in Sight.”
My continued search for that “something” is what led me to the Saebo website and to try the SaeboGlove for two weeks. As soon as I put the SaeboGlove on, my gripping abilities began to improve, due to the correct positioning of the wrist and the extension of my thumb and fingers. With the SaeboGlove, I’m able to pick up small objects, blocks, pencils, etc. and manipulate and stack other peg objects on a board. These tasks were either difficult or impossible without the SaeboGlove. Also, I can perform a number of routine tasks like opening doors and kitchen closets. All of this was given back to me because, with the glove on, my right hand is able to pinch normally between the thumb and the index finger.
It’s too soon to say whether or not I’ll be able to get back substantial movement of my right hand without the SaeboGlove on, but at least there is hope and in the meantime, it offers the ability to work out the right hand and to perform some normal activities with the glove on. I am grateful for this and hoping that I will continue to see improvements as my brain retrains. Thank you Saebo. Over the years I’ve heard from many a doctor (although never a physical or occupational therapist) that “You will reach a plateau.” So I love your motto: “No Plateau in Sight!”
